TRAVEL MUG
Spinn, a high-tech coffee startup wanted to expand their brand by creating a line of consumer accessories. Their vision was clear; the mug should fit both the aesthetic as the dimensions of the Spinn coffee maker.
Jaspers role in the development of this travel mug was inventing original features for the use of the mug.
Design sketching, user testing, engineering, prototyping, contact with manufacturing parties and creating product renders for the mug where also part of the project.
This project was initiated by Spinn while Jasper was working there as allround designer (+soft engineer).
The product launched in 2022 and is being sold all across the United States of America.
EASY TO DRINK,
WITH OR WITHOUT LID.
Some of the most important goals was to make a travel mug that you can drink hot beverages from in a comfortable maner. Both with or without the lid. Due to testing competing travel mugs it seemed that it was nearly impossible to find a mug with a wide drinking hole. Also if the lid was removed it was hard to drink from because of the tread. Both of these irritations where tackled in the final travel mug.
